We are currently seeking a friendly and efficient Host or Hostess to join our front-of-house team. This role is essential in orchestrating the initial guest experience, greeting patrons with warmth and professionalism, managing the flow of the dining area, and ensuring guests are seated comfortably and efficiently. As a host, you will be the face of the restaurant upon arrival, setting the tone for a positive dining experience. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, managing waitlists via a digital system, accommodating seating preferences, and liaising closely with servers and kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations. Attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to maintain a composed demeanor during busy periods are key attributes for success in this role. This position does not require previous restaurant experience, although such experience is preferred, and applicants must exhibit excellent grooming and hygiene. The work environment demands physical stamina, including prolonged standing, occasional lifting, and the ability to communicate clearly in a fast-paced setting. Job Duties

  • Warmly greet all guests upon their arrival
  • open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant when possible
  • inspect tables for proper presentation
  • when the restaurant is on a wait for tables, record the guest's information in the NoWait App and provide the guest with an estimated wait time
  • notify guests via the No Wait App when their table is ready
  • accommodate special seating requests whenever possible
  • make friendly conversation with guests as you walk them to their table
  • upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of the server's name
  • handle food: chips and salsa
  • thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
  • attend all scheduled team member meetings
