We are currently seeking enthusiastic and engaging Host/Hostess professionals to join our front-of-house team. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first and last impression of our guests' dining experience, playing a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Your primary responsibility will be managing reservations through platforms such as OpenTable, coordinating seating arrangements efficiently to optimize service flow, and ensuring guests feel welcomed from arrival to departure. This role demands a warm personality, excellent multi-tasking skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.

Your duties will encompass greeting guests warmly, managing reservations and seating with professionalism, assisting with special seating requests, communicating wait times effectively, and maintaining an organized and inviting host stand. You will also be responsible for answering phone calls and handling reservation inquiries, supporting concierge outreach and brand presence at off-site events, monitoring dining room status, and assisting service team members as needed. Upholding THE ONE GROUP's high standards for health, sanitation, and hospitality is paramount, as is presenting a professional appearance consistent with company expectations.

This position requires the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with a preference for candidates who have experience using reservation systems like OpenTable and prior hospitality or hosting experience in busy restaurants. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle tray lifting is also necessary. Job Duties

  • Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression
  • Manage OpenTable reservations and coordinate seating to optimize service flow
  • Assist guests with special seating requests whenever possible
  • Communicate table availability and wait times to guests in a professional manner
  • Provide menus and introduce guests to their server upon seating
  • Maintain a clean and organized host stand and menu area
  • Answer incoming phone calls, provide information, and handle reservation inquiries
  • Assist with concierge outreach and brand representation at off-site events
  • Monitor the dining area, update the Maître D/Lead Host on table status, and help coordinate seating rotation
  • Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return for another unforgettable experience
  • Assist fellow team members with bussing tables, running food, or supporting service as needed
  • Adhere to health and sanitation regulations and uphold THE ONE GROUP's high hospitality standards
  • Always represent THE ONE GROUP professionally, this includes maintaining an elevated appearance and being comfortable in heels (if applicable)
  • Other duties as assigned by management
