Job Description

This job opening is for a Host or Hostess role within a vibrant restaurant environment. The Host/Hostess serves as the first point of contact for guests and plays a crucial role in managing the dining room flow to optimize seating arrangements and enhance the overall guest experience. This role requires attentiveness to the restaurant's front of house environment, including monitoring the lighting, music volume, and cleanliness to ensure the setting is always inviting. The Host must have thorough knowledge of the menu to answer guest inquiries competently and assist with any specials or events that may be ongoing. In addition to greeting and seating guests, the Host may also be responsible for managing To Go orders, ensuring an efficient and friendly delivery of takeout service. Follow-up is an important part of the role, as the Host engages with guests at the end of their visit to confirm their satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Responsibilities also include cash handling, maintaining sanitation and food safety standards, and acting as a spokesperson for the restaurant during special events. The ideal candidate will be punctual, uniformly presentable, and committed to teamwork and continuous development in food and beverage knowledge.

Job Duties
