Job Description

Our award-winning oceanfront restaurant offers a unique dining experience that combines exquisite cuisine with breathtaking views of the sea. Renowned for our commitment to excellence and exceptional customer service, we pride ourselves on creating memorable moments for our guests. As a leader in the hospitality industry, our restaurant not only delivers top-quality food and beverages but also cultivates a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes every guest feel valued and welcomed. We operate in a dynamic environment where teamwork, professionalism, and a passion for hospitality are essential to our success.

We are currently seeking a friendly and upbeat Front Desk Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. This position involves working variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The Front Desk Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring that our front desk team consistently demonstrates core values, with a primary focus on making a positive first impression with every guest and team member interaction. This role requires someone who is attentive, organized, and capable of multitasking while maintaining a cheerful and approachable demeanor.

As a Front Desk Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for guests entering our restaurant, responsible for managing phone reservations, greeting guests warmly, and coordinating seating to optimize the flow of service. Your tasks will include answering phones promptly, accurately scheduling reservations, providing wait time estimates during busy periods, seating guests efficiently, and taking initial drink orders to expedite service. Additionally, you will assist with opening and closing duties and support your team by rotating seating assignments to maintain balanced workloads for the waitstaff. A complete knowledge of our menu is essential to effectively answer guest inquiries and provide excellent customer service.

This role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to work on your feet for extended periods, and a flexible schedule to accommodate peak dining times. Having 1 to 3 years of customer service experience, preferably in hospitality, will be advantageous. We value team leaders who actively seek opportunities to assist their colleagues and contribute positively to the work environment. The salary range for this position is $15.00 to $20.00 per hour, reflecting the part-time nature and responsibilities of the role. If you have a friendly and open disposition and are ready to join a team dedicated to excellence, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
