Job Requirements

- prior experience in cash handling and customer service preferred

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- strong organizational skills
- ability to read and interpret seating charts
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- friendly and enthusiastic manner when interacting with guests and coworkers
- ability to work collaboratively within a team
- basic math skills for cash handling
Job Duties
- Greet guests and seat them at appropriate tables following customer service standards
- record customer reservations or seating times accurately
- maintain and update restaurant seating charts
- ensure proper setup and maintenance of dining room areas
- assist with preparing sufficient stock of silverware before shifts
- provide menu and beverage advice to guests
- oversee delivery and service of food and beverages
- liaise between kitchen and floor staff to ensure service quality
- perform cashier and bus person duties as required
- follow cash handling policies and maintain security of cash
- monitor assigned station, refill beverages, and clear service items
- assist with various tasks during downtime including rolling silverware, expediting food orders, washing dishes, preparing to-go food, and cleaning table condiments
