Job Requirements
- Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
- Satisfactory physical and mental health to perform job requirements
- Able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Able to stand and walk for up to eight hours per shift with limited breaks

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- At least one year of restaurant service experience in a high volume establishment
- Current local or state Food Handler's Training Certification as required
- Current local or state Alcohol Beverage Service Training Certification as required
- Basic math proficiency
- Basic knowledge of wines, vintages, and wine pairings
- Basic knowledge of beers, spirits, and cocktails
- Strong communication skills in spoken and written English
- Proficiency with POS and TMX computer systems
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable transportation
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon entry and over the phone
- Guide guests through ordering and payment procedures
- Solve small guest problems promptly and positively
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Lawry's appearance standards, guest interaction procedures, table duties, side work, and safety procedures
- Participate in timely introduction of guests, description of food and beverage selections, and resolution of guest issues
- Manage reservations, telephone and fax orders, and cancellations efficiently
- Handle cash and credit payments accurately, including verifying, balancing, and making change
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of entrance and foyer areas
- Support VIP Rewards program and attend mandatory co-worker meetings and training
- Demonstrate teamwork and cooperation with co-workers, management, vendors, and suppliers
- Demonstrate knowledge of menu, wines, beers, spirits, and cocktail offerings to assist guests
- Use POS and TMX computer systems proficiently
- Follow food handling and sanitation procedures
- Adhere to uniform and appearance standards
- Notify manager immediately of guest issues, equipment malfunctions, accidents, or unsafe conditions
- Perform additional duties as assigned
