Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Minimum one year of food service experience preferred
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to wear personal protective equipment
Availability to work rotating shifts and weekends
Ability to interact courteously with patients and visitors
Ability to understand and respond to simple verbal and written instructions

Job Duties

Provide positive patient experience regarding meal service including Room Service
Take meal orders using hospital-issued tablet and mobile phone
Deliver and remove meal trays in patient rooms
Follow safety and sanitation requirements including wearing proper PPE
Use two patient identifiers when delivering meals
Verify diet orders accurately
Respond appropriately to patient and visitor questions and requests
