Job Description

We are currently seeking a customer-focused individual to join our team as a restaurant team member, starting out in the host position. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, greeting and seating them with a friendly and professional demeanor. Beyond hosting, you will play an essential role in supporting the front-of-house operations, including running drinks and food to tables, managing to-go orders, and maintaining well-stocked and organized stations. Your excellent communication skills and ability to multitask will help ensure that each guest enjoys a seamless, enjoyable visit. Attention to detail and a genuine passion for exceptional customer service are key in this role. We value team players who can adapt to the fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure while making each guest feel special. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in restaurant hosting or serving preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Ability to carry 10-30 lbs
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Flexible availability

Job Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant hosting or serving experience preferred
  • Friendly and customer-focused personality
  • Ability to articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests, as well as being able to understand requests for assistance
  • Ability to clearly communicate guests’ needs to servers, bussers, managers, etc.
  • Ability to effectively communicate on the telephone
  • Must be able to carry trays or supplies (10-30 lbs)

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas
  • Fulfill all tables drink orders sent in by the guest representatives
  • Keep the drink station cleaned, stocked and organized throughout your shift
  • Fulfill all tables with food and condiment orders sent in by the guest representatives
  • Keep the serving line clean, stocked and organized throughout your shift
  • Ring in to-go orders in the POS system
  • Keep up with to-go orders by boxing food up, bagging then placing in the designated spot when completed
  • Keep all supplies stocked and clean throughout your shift
