Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum 2 years experience in a formal dining or upscale casual environment
- Flexibility to work any shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in English
- Strong organizational skills including follow-up, time management, and multitasking
- Ability to positively communicate and interact with all hotel departments
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods indoors
- Completion of background check
- Drug-free workplace compliance

Job Duties
- Provide the highest and most efficient level of hospitality and customer service expected by our guests
- Greet and seat guests
- Record and confirm reservations through OpenTable or call-in requests
- Monitor guest waiting list
- Answer telephone to service internal and external guests
- Handle room service and to-go orders via telephone
- Handle cash, credit cards, and guest room charges
- Assist with serving guests by bringing out meal orders if servers are busy
- Monitor and observe guest’s dining experience to ensure satisfaction and respond promptly to any issues
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items and beverage programs
- Be a team player and assist others when necessary to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Complete setup and breakdown of sections including cleaning work areas
- Work with servers to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Report damages, shortcomings, and disturbances to supervisors
- Ensure restaurant procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operation as directed by management
- Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor or manager
