Located in a vibrant area, the restaurant prides itself on offering a sophisticated dining atmosphere where guests can enjoy exquisite dishes paired with carefully curated beverages. Committed to maintaining top-tier service standards, JING Restaurant attracts a diverse clientele who appreciate not only fine dining but also the warm and welcoming environment cultivated by a dedicated team of hospitality professionals. The restaurant's ambiance is designed to provide an inviting and memorable experience for every guest, making it a preferred destination for special occasions, business meetings, and casual outings alike.

The role of Host/Hostess at JING Restaurant is pivotal in shaping the guest experience, as this position serves as the crucial first point of contact for all visitors. This role involves delivering a warm and inviting greeting to guests upon their arrival, managing reservations with precision, and optimizing seating arrangements to ensure smooth front-of-house operations. The Host/Hostess is tasked with maintaining a well-organized seating chart and effectively coordinating communication between guests and various restaurant departments including servers, bartenders, and management. Strong communication skills, organization, multitasking abilities, and a professional demeanor are essential for success in this role.

In addition to day-to-day guest reception, the Host/Hostess will assist with waitlist management during busy periods, providing accurate wait time estimates and keeping guests informed to enhance their overall experience. Providing helpful menu guidance and answering guest inquiries are also key responsibilities, ensuring that diners feel supported throughout their visit. The position also involves assisting in coordinating special events and private parties, ensuring that all special requests and reservations are executed flawlessly.

Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness at the host station, entryway, and waiting areas is a priority, alongside replenishing supplies to uphold a polished appearance that reflects the restaurant’s standards. Handling guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and efficiency, while collaborating with management to resolve issues, ensures that guest satisfaction remains high. The Host/Hostess works closely with the entire service team to foster a cohesive and seamless dining experience.

This role requires flexibility with working hours, as shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate the restaurant's operating hours. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $28.00 per hour, reflecting the level of skill and dedication required to thrive in this position. Working at JING Restaurant is an excellent opportunity for hospitality professionals who value a dynamic and guest-focused work environment within a prestigious dining setting.
