The role of Host/Hostess at JING Restaurant is pivotal in shaping the guest experience, as this position serves as the crucial first point of contact for all visitors. This role involves delivering a warm and inviting greeting to guests upon their arrival, managing reservations with precision, and optimizing seating arrangements to ensure smooth front-of-house operations. The Host/Hostess is tasked with maintaining a well-organized seating chart and effectively coordinating communication between guests and various restaurant departments including servers, bartenders, and management. In addition to day-to-day guest reception, the Host/Hostess will assist with waitlist management during busy periods, providing accurate wait time estimates and keeping guests informed to enhance their overall experience. Providing helpful menu guidance and answering guest inquiries are also key responsibilities, ensuring that diners feel supported throughout their visit. The position also involves assisting in coordinating special events and private parties, ensuring that all special requests and reservations are executed flawlessly.
