Job Description

Heroes Restaurant & Brewhouse is a distinctive dining and social destination offering an exceptional blend of hearty American cuisine and handcrafted beverages. Located in a lively setting filled with Americana memorabilia and local charm, Heroes has built a reputation for delivering a unique and enjoyable experience to its guests. Known for its spacious patio and offering 24 different flavors of draft beer alongside carefully curated cocktails, it is a favored spot for social gatherings and events. The restaurant prides itself on its friendly staff and an entertaining atmosphere that appeals to a diverse clientele seeking quality food, drinks, and a welcoming environment. As a customer-oriented establishment, Heroes Restaurant & Brewhouse prioritizes creating memorable dining experiences in a community-focused setting.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Hosts. This entry-level position is ideal for those with a passion for outstanding customer service and a desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. At Heroes, hosts play a crucial role as they are the first and last point of contact between the restaurant and our valued guests. The role demands a warm, welcoming demeanor along with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting. Hosts will greet guests promptly with a genuine smile, manage seating assignments, handle reservations, and answer incoming calls using our Table Management system. Equally important is the responsibility to keep guest areas tidy and manage menu presentation, ensuring a positive and hospitable environment.

This position also involves occasional duties such as assisting with placing, packaging, and closing out To-Go orders, helping with side work like wiping tables and restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of the waiting area. Hosts support the smooth operation of the dining room by monitoring floor seating arrangements and dining flow to ensure guest satisfaction and efficiency. The role requires flexibility as hosts perform opening, running, and closing duties, contributing to the overall success and service quality at Heroes. Though this is a part-time position, 40 hours per week may be available depending on the restaurant's needs. The base pay for this role is $17.50 per hour.

Candidates are expected to bring strong customer service skills, effective teamwork, positive professionalism, and excellent verbal communication abilities. Additionally, new hires must obtain the Riverside County Food Handlers Card and the Responsible Beverage Service Training and Certificate from California Alcohol Beverage Control. Other required certifications include a state-issued Driver's License or Identification Card, Social Security Card, and State Sexual Harassment Training and Certification. If you are passionate about creating memorable guest experiences and want to be part of a vibrant team within a popular restaurant and brewery, Heroes Restaurant & Brewhouse invites you to apply and grow with us.
