Job Duties
- Greet every guest with a genuine smile and enthusiastic welcome
- Manage seating chart and waitlist efficiently
- Seat guests promptly at appropriate tables
- Balance server sections
- Manage guest expectations during busy periods
- Answer phones and provide accurate menu information
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus
- Address guest inquiries and minor concerns with courtesy
- Assist bussers with light table clearing and setting
- Observe dining room and communicate with servers and management about table availability and guest flow
