Job Requirements

High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related coursework
Preferably 6 months of food and beverage experience, preferably in fine dining or a resort
Knowledge of world-class hospitality and service
Valid Food Handler's License
Valid State Driver's License
Proficient ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and prioritizing workload throughout the day
Friendly and professional manner under periods of high demand with guests, team members, and management

Job Duties

Greet guests upon arrival by opening the door and addressing them by surname if known or acquiring their name and party size
Guide guests to their tables pre-set according to party size and preferences
Offer to check coats when appropriate
Offer sparkling or still water to guests when suitable for service
Clear all non-used settings when appropriate
Introduce the server or SA responsible for the table when appropriate
Set up and maintain a clean host or hostess stand
