The Hostess position at Boca Woods Country Club is a vital role within the hospitality team, responsible for creating memorable first impressions of the club’s distinguished dining environment. This role requires an experienced, personable, and organized individual who can manage guest relations seamlessly, coordinate with dining room staff, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. In this role, the Hostess will serve as the initial point of contact for members and guests, requiring a warm and friendly demeanor coupled with excellent communication skills. The ability to memorize and recognize the names of the 50 most frequent patrons is crucial, enabling personalized greetings that foster a sense of belonging and exclusivity. Beyond greeting guests, the Hostess will manage reservation systems, orchestrate waitlists during busy periods, and ensure smooth seating arrangements that optimize dining room efficiency. Coordination with servers and managers is essential to maintain top-tier table management and guest satisfaction.
Additionally, the Hostess will assist the dining staff by supporting service tasks such as coffee and water refills, helping to create a cohesive and guest-focused dining experience. A key component of the job involves knowledge of the menu and daily specials to assist servers and accurately handle to-go orders.
The role also supports special events by creating signage, table numbers, and place cards as needed using Microsoft Office tools, enhancing the overall event presentation. This position demands someone with high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to quickly resolve guest concerns with professionalism and tact.
Physical requirements are an important consideration for this role; it involves standing and walking for extended periods and the ability to lift items up to 40 pounds. - Preferred 3 reliable references from previous positions

Job Duties
