Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience in a high volume operation preferred
  • Read, write, speak and understand English
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Available to work required schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
  • Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
  • Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation
  • Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues
  • Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items, bend, stoop and twist while carrying restaurant stock
  • Able to reach across tables
  • Able to stand and walk for up to four hours
  • Able to use hand motions when cleaning and wiping menus and tables
  • Must tolerate industry standard cleaning chemicals
  • Able to tolerate noise and bright lights
  • Able to work at a fast pace in crowded and noisy environments
  • Must maintain neat, well-groomed professional appearance
  • Must maintain good posture and poise throughout the shift
  • Physically able to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs
  • Able to perform various physical activities such as bending, twisting, stooping, stacking, crouching, kneeling and balancing in different work areas including confined spaces

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience in a high volume operation preferred

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime
  • Maintaining professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy

  • Strong interpersonal skills to attend to guest needs efficiently

Job Duties

  • Providing fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service to restaurant guests and staff
  • Greeting and welcoming each guest entering the restaurant
  • Seating guests according to specified rotation requirements
  • Maintaining proper seating and reservation documentation
  • Monitoring restaurant for table availability
  • Keeping designated work area clean and organized
  • Assisting wait staff and bus persons with duties such as refilling water glasses and helping pre-bus and bus tables
  • Completing all assigned closing duties at the end of shift
  • Promoting current casino events and programs, providing guests directions to casino areas
  • Thanking customers, inviting them back, wishing them luck, and facilitating ease of re-entry into play
