Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a similar hostess or customer service role preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong organizational skills
- Positive attitude and friendly personality
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer literacy, especially with reservation systems
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and etiquette
- Ability to handle guest complaints gracefully
Job Duties
- Greet all guests and treat them with excellent hospitality
- Willingness to learn computerized reservation and table management system
- Initiate and maintain wait lists
- Manage reservations
- Coordinate with waitstaff about available seating
- Guide customers to tables and provide menus
- Answer incoming calls and address customer questions
- Distribute to-go orders
- Assign guests to tables they prefer while keeping table rotation in mind
- Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service
- Respond to complaints and help resolve them
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and respond to questions
- Maintain knowledge of the menu
- Assist with other restaurant positions as needed
