Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
  • Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to navigate a busy dining area and assist guests as needed
  • Dexterity to handle menus, utensils, and other dining items
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions if outdoors

Job Duties

  • Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival
  • Manage the reservation system and seating chart to optimize guest flow
  • Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and daily specials
  • Answer questions about the menu and assist with special requests
  • Collaborate with waitstaff to ensure prompt and efficient service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area
  • Manage waitlists and provide accurate wait time estimates to guests
  • Uphold the highest standards of customer service and professionalism
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns with a positive attitude
