Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is beneficial
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with reservation systems like Opentable
- Basic knowledge of cash handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be physically able to work in various weather conditions

Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate with the public, hotel staff, and management in a professional manner
- Knowledge of surrounding areas and local events

- Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time
- Must be able to withstand working in heat, rain, sun, and cold

Job Duties
- Welcome guests to the venue
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
- Answer telephone, address customers queries, process and track reservations in Opentable according to established procedures
- Escort guests to assigned dining tables
- Seat guests based on guest preferences and balancing of customer flow in service stations
- Upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of their server's name
- Inspect table for proper presentation and completeness
- Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
- Maintain a clean reception area
- Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g., children, elderly)
- Control the volume of the restaurant and assure guests waiting are practicing social distance
- Inspect and maintain daily menus to ensure quality, condition, and appearance while developing a complete working knowledge of all menu items and daily specials
- Process and handle all take-out/delivery food orders in accordance with established procedures
- Other duties may be assigned by the department head
