This role requires excellent communication skills, a warm personality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Host will communicate wait times accurately, escort guests to their tables, and maintain an organized and clean entryway that reflects the restaurant's standards. In addition, the Host will ensure a fair rotation of tables among servers to promote teamwork and a positive working environment. The role also involves answering the phone with proper etiquette, assisting team members as needed, and managing all opening and closing duties. Moreover, the Host will be integral in communicating guest requests and noting special occasions to the servers or Manager on Duty, enhancing the personalized service experience.
