Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
  • customer service experience strongly preferred
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • strong organizational and guest-flow management abilities
  • professional appearance and friendly demeanor
  • basic knowledge of reservation systems and POS platforms preferred
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and create a positive first impression
  • manage reservations, waitlists, and seating charts to maximize service flow
  • escort guests to tables and communicate server sections effectively
  • answer phones, take messages, and provide basic restaurant information
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area
  • assist with menus, to-go orders, and guest requests as needed
  • monitor dining room activity and communicate with servers and management
  • follow company policies, safety standards, and service procedures
  • perform additional duties as assigned by management
