Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years related experience
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant concepts, practices and procedures
  • Ability to handle money accurately
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
  • Basic computer skills including POS systems

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner and escort guests to tables
  • Monitor guests' needs and the flow of the restaurant and seat guests accordingly
  • Deliver the appropriate number of menus and kid packs when seating guests
  • Perform restroom checks, answer phones, keep lobby, bakery, and retail areas clean and stocked
  • Practice safe food and beverage handling
  • Communicate and interact with guests, handle crowds, and help guests while they wait
  • Show guests care and ask about their dining experience
  • Effectively handle guest complaints and involve manager when appropriate
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
  • Assist in marketing, promotional services, and situational selling
  • Clear, sanitize, and set tables as needed
  • Manage guests wait times by working with managers
  • Assist in other job categories as needed
  • Perform all other assigned duties
