Job Requirements
- 0-2 years related experience
- strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- ability to stand and walk for long periods without rest
- ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- ability to reach with hands and bend and stoop
- ability to verbally communicate with others
- ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and adjust focus
- ability to access all areas of the restaurant
- dependability and exceptional teamwork skills

Job Duties
- Greet guest in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner and escort guests to tables
- monitor guests' needs and the flow of the restaurant and seat guests accordingly
- deliver the appropriate number of menus and kid packs when seating guests
- perform restroom checks, answer phone, keep lobby, bakery and retail areas clean and stocked
- practice safe food and beverage handling
- communicate and interact with guests, handle crowds, and put guests at ease while they wait
- show guests you care and ask about their dining experience
- effectively handle guest complaints and involve manager at appropriate time
- handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- assist in marketing, promotional services and situational selling
- clear, sanitize, and set tables as needed
- manage guests wait times by working with managers to quote accurate wait times
- assist in other job categories as needed
- complete all other duties as assigned
