Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years related experience in restaurant or customer service
- ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods
- ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
- strong communication skills
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- knowledge of safe food and beverage handling practices
- basic computer knowledge including POS systems
- dependable and able to work in a team environment

Job Duties
- Greet guest in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner and escort guests to tables
- monitor guests' needs and the flow of the restaurant and seat guests accordingly
- deliver the appropriate number of menus and kid packs when seating guests
- perform restroom checks, answer phone, keep lobby, bakery, and retail areas clean of debris, and keep the general work area stocked and cleaned
- practice safe food and beverage handling
- communicate and interact with guests, handle crowds, and put guests at ease while they wait for their table or carryout order
- show guests you care and ask about their dining experience
- effectively handle guest complaints and involve manager at appropriate times
- handle cash and credit transactions accurately, accounting for all receivables including cash, credit cards, and gift cards
- assist in marketing, promotional services, and situational selling by communicating new promotions and products to guests
- clear, sanitize, and set tables as needed
- manage guests' wait times by working with managers to quote accurate wait times
- may assist in other job categories as needed
- perform all other assigned duties
