Job Requirements

0-2 years related experience
Strong knowledge of restaurant concepts and practices
Ability to accurately handle money and process credit card transactions
Excellent guest service skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Good organizational skills
Ability to stand for entire shifts and walk for long periods
Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
Effective verbal communication skills
Availability to work with flexible scheduling
Ability to access all restaurant areas
Willingness to follow safety and sanitation guidelines

Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise

Ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions, and have strong menu knowledge
Computer skills including POS system operation
0-2 years related experience
Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Job Duties

Greet guest in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner and escort guests to tables
Monitor guests' needs and the flow of the restaurant and seat guests accordingly
Deliver the appropriate number of menus and kid packs when seating guests
Perform restroom checks, answer phone calls, keep lobby, bakery, and retail areas clean, and maintain stocked and clean work areas
Practice safe food and beverage handling
Communicate and interact with guests, handle crowds, and put guests at ease while waiting
Show guests care and inquire about their dining experience
Effectively handle guest complaints and involve manager as needed
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
Assist in marketing, promotional services, and situational selling
Clear, sanitize, and set tables as needed
Manage guest wait times by working with managers to quote accurate wait times
Assist in other job categories as assigned
Perform all other duties as assigned
