Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Greet guest in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner and escort guests to tables
  • Monitor guests' needs and the flow of the restaurant and seat guests accordingly
  • Deliver the appropriate number of menus and kid packs when seating guests
  • Perform restroom checks, answer phone calls, keep lobby, bakery, and retail areas clean, and maintain stocked and clean work areas
  • Practice safe food and beverage handling
  • Communicate and interact with guests, handle crowds, and put guests at ease while waiting
  • Show guests care and inquire about their dining experience
  • Effectively handle guest complaints and involve manager as needed
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
  • Assist in marketing, promotional services, and situational selling
  • Clear, sanitize, and set tables as needed
  • Manage guest wait times by working with managers to quote accurate wait times
  • Assist in other job categories as assigned
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
