The Host position at CRCR is a crucial role within the Food and Beverage Team. As a Host, you will act as an ambassador for the CRCR brand, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued from the moment they enter the restaurant. This role requires a blend of excellent communication skills, the ability to manage a dynamic seating flow, and a friendly, guest-centric attitude. The Host is responsible for managing the waitlist, answering phone inquiries, taking to-go orders, and overseeing a smooth guest seating process. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • 1+ years of host experience in a hospitality atmosphere
  • must possess or be able to complete RBS training and certification for alcohol service
  • must possess or be able to complete ServSafe/Food Handler's training and certification

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
  • maintain an accurate account of sectional seating rotation
  • manage waitlist operations
  • answer phone calls and place to-go orders
  • ensure exceptional guest service and teamwork
  • greet guests promptly with welcoming and departing acknowledgments
  • lead guests to their table with menus and silverware
  • assist in seating and inform guests of their server
  • present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
  • answer phone calls
  • enter to-go orders through the POS terminal
  • process guest payments
  • clean menus before reissuing
  • follow departmental and business policies regarding alcohol service
  • cater to guests requiring extra attention such as children and elderly
  • maintain a clean reception area
  • assist servers as necessary
  • keep restaurant ware in proper condition
  • keep condiments and supplies stocked throughout shifts
  • complete all side work and opening/closing tasks
  • communicate with management professionally
  • involve management in guest recovery issues
  • perform other duties as assigned
