Job Duties

Suggesting new menu items from limited time offerings
Cleaning, completing side work, and organizing supplies as needed
Proactively assisting other team members without being asked
Providing total guest satisfaction
Greeting and welcoming all customers immediately upon arrival and verifying the number in their party
Seating customers at tables or booths appropriate for their needs and those of the restaurant and introducing feature of the day
Keeping hostess area stocked and clean, including to-go items and bakery products
Handling incoming telephone calls immediately and taking to-go orders as appropriate
Maintaining proper supply of clean menus
Periodically supplying customers with initial beverage suggestions and providing beverage order and refills
Resolving complaints as they become aware of them, notifying the manager of any complaints received
Collecting payment from customers immediately in accordance with established cash handling procedures, inquiring about food/service satisfaction, and handling customer complaints/suggestions appropriately
Bussing and cleaning guest tables in the dining room
Delivering trays of dirty dishware to dish-room and stocking service area with clean dishware
Packaging to-go orders ensuring 100 percent accuracy with food, beverages, and accompaniments
Completing the sign off process on all to-go receipts
Expediting dine-in orders ensuring 100 percent accuracy and proper positioning of food on the service trays
Preparing drinks for the waitstaff to help improve speed of service and table turns
Performing other work-related duties as assigned
