Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 30 lbs
  • able to work in hot and cold environments
  • ability to walk and stand for extended periods up to 8 hours per shift
  • frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, and stooping
  • manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils, and technology systems
  • ability to move quickly in fast-paced environment
  • visual ability including distance, close, color, depth, and peripheral vision
  • ability to adjust focus as needed
  • work in areas with low or dim lighting
  • ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • responsible beverage service certification required for California positions within 60 days of start date

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • basic knowledge of food and beverage menus
  • responsible beverage service certification (or ability to obtain) for California positions
  • strong customer service orientation
  • willingness to support multiple areas of the restaurant as needed

Job Duties

  • Makes memorable first and last impressions with a smile
  • greets incoming and departing guests in a welcoming manner
  • seats guests in dining and bar areas while ensuring smooth handoff to service staff
  • coordinates wait and seats guests with a sense of urgency
  • supports dining room by bussing tables, delivering food, and maintaining cleanliness
  • answers phone promptly and directs calls
  • assists servers by serving food and beverages, clearing and resetting tables, and ensuring a clean, welcoming dining environment
