We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sally's Greeter to join our distinguished team. The Greeter plays a pivotal role as the first point of contact in our restaurant, responsible for welcoming guests warmly and setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. This position is ideal for individuals who have previously worked as restaurant hosts or hostesses and possess strong interpersonal skills. Our Greeter team members are essential in managing seating arrangements effectively to optimize the workload for restaurant staff and ensuring that every guest receives attentive and personalized service.

The role requires a dynamic individual who can maintain a positive and welcoming presence, provide knowledgeable menu recommendations, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their visit. The position demands excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to interact politely and clearly with guests and team members alike. The Greeter will also assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area and communicate any concerns to management. This is a fast-paced environment where prioritization and memory for guest requests are critical.

Job Duties

  • Optimize seating at different tables to ensure an even workload for the staff
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
  • Perform regular inspection of the dining rooms and maintain cleanliness of the facility while communicating with management areas of concern
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees
  • Prioritize well and remember all guests' requests
  • Be open to constructive feedback and coaching or mentoring
