Job Duties
- Acknowledge and welcome each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly greeting (use guest name whenever possible)
- provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
- manage reservations
- escort guests to assigned dining or bar areas
- provide menus and announce server's name
- greet and thank guests upon their departure
- coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
- maintain a clean reception area
- cater to guests who require extra attention
- answer incoming calls and address guest queries
- assist servers as needed
- assist with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments
- perform other related duties as assigned, you may be required to perform a variety of duties in multiple departments during a shift
