Job Requirements
- Must be 17 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to work different shifts including holidays, nights and weekends
- Must be able to work overtime as required
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry preferred
- Possess excellent customer service skills
- Must possess good verbal and nonverbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during stressful and busy times
- Must be able to work under stress and have excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task throughout shift
- Exercise sound judgment and possess good problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- Answer telephones and take reservations
- Manage efficient and timely seating of guests to tables
- Provide menu and server information to guests once seated
- Handle special seating requests following table seating guidelines and availability
- Relay guest seating and related information to servers and bus persons
- Oversee dining room activity to ensure guest seating efficiency
