Job Duties

  • Greet guests and determine the number in their party
  • seat guests by finding a clean, available table
  • pull out chairs
  • place clean/current menu in front of guest
  • guide guests through the dining rooms and provide assistance
  • move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings for special needs groups
  • ensure appropriate place settings with napkins and silverware
  • check menus for cleanliness and currency
  • maintain cleanliness of work areas following clean-as-you-go procedures
  • monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being
  • follow all company safety and security policies and report unsafe conditions
  • maintain professional personal appearance
  • protect company assets
  • welcome guests according to company standards
  • use clear and professional language when speaking and answering phones
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • support team goals
  • adhere to quality standards
  • remain on feet for extended periods
  • move and lift objects up to 10 pounds without assistance
