The position of Host/Hostess at Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center is an essential front-of-house role responsible for delivering a warm and efficient guest experience in the Food and Beverage department. This full-time non-management role involves greeting guests promptly, determining party sizes, and seating them at clean, available tables while attending to their specific needs. Hosts are responsible for maintaining the dining area's presentation by ensuring tables and chairs are properly arranged and that place settings are complete with napkins, silverware, and menus that are clean and current. The Host/Hostess oversees the cleanliness and organization of work areas, practices clean-as-you-go procedures, and monitors the dining room for both guest satisfaction and safety.

A strong emphasis is placed on professionalism and adherence to Marriott International's safety and security policies. The successful candidate must report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management, complete necessary safety training, and uphold uniform and personal grooming standards.
