This role is for a Part-Time Host/Hostess position at Sheraton Fairplex Suites & Conference Center. The position pays $22.50 per hour and includes the opportunity to earn tips. It is a non-management role, ideal for individuals interested in being part of a food and beverage service team within a vibrant hotel setting. The Host/Hostess is a critical first point of contact and plays a key role in shaping guests' dining experiences. Responsibilities include greeting guests warmly upon arrival, determining the size of their party, and seating them at clean, available tables with current menus. This includes adhering to company policies, participating in safety trainings, and reporting any incidents or unsafe conditions to management. Hosts must present themselves professionally, uphold confidentiality, and demonstrate excellent communication skills both with guests and team members. The working environment requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting of items up to 10 pounds.
