When tables are not immediately available, you will record guest information and provide accurate wait times while ensuring the guest remains engaged and informed through prompt paging when their table is ready. Exceptional communication skills are essential, as you will need to interact effectively with guests in the predominant languages spoken at the location. Being in a standing position for up to 8 hours requires physical stamina, and maintaining impeccable grooming habits is a must to adhere to the company’s professional appearance standards.

Additional responsibilities include accommodating special seating requests as much as possible, escorting guests to their tables with menus and silverware, informing them of their server's name, and ensuring a polite and appreciative send-off as guests leave, encouraging their return. Keeping the host area, floors, and entryway glass clean and welcoming also falls within the scope of this role. The dress code is clearly outlined; all employees must wear dark blue jeans, a black belt, and black non-slip shoes from day one, with no visible tattoos when wearing the short-sleeve polo shirt.
