We are currently seeking a part-time, non-management Host to join our dynamic Food and Beverage and Culinary team at the Miami Beach EDITION. This position offers an hourly salary of $20.00 and is tip eligible, with additional compensation through service charges. The Host is a vital front-of-house role responsible for creating an inviting and seamless guest experience from the moment guests arrive until they are comfortably seated. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, attentiveness, and a genuine passion for hospitality. The successful candidate will be highly visible within the dining environment, providing warm greetings, managing seating arrangements efficiently, and ensuring all guests feel welcomed and valued.
The Host's duties include welcoming guests, determining their party size, escorting them to clean and properly set tables, and ensuring the seating area is organized and accommodates special group needs. The role demands maintaining cleanliness and appearance of menus and dining areas throughout service, monitoring guest flow, and collaborating effectively with team members to support smooth service delivery. The position also involves adhering strictly to all safety and security protocols and fostering a professional work environment by maintaining a polished personal appearance and confidential handling of proprietary information.

Job Duties
- Greet guests and determine the number in their party
- Seat guests by finding a clean, available table
- Pull out chairs and place clean or current menu in front of guests
- Guide guests through dining rooms and provide assistance as needed
- Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings for groups with special needs
- Ensure appropriate place settings including napkins and clean silverware
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and practice clean-as-you-go procedures
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being
- Follow all company safety and security policies and report accidents or unsafe conditions
- Maintain professional appearance and protect company assets
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
- Communicate professionally and answer telephones appropriately
- Develop positive relationships and support team goals
- Ensure quality expectations and standards are met
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Move or place objects weighing up to 10 pounds
- Perform additional duties as requested by supervisors
