Job Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
no prior related work experience required
no supervisory experience required
ability to perform physical tasks including standing and walking for extended periods
ability to lift objects up to 10 pounds without assistance

Job Duties

Greet guests and determine the number in their party
seat guests by finding a clean, available table
pull out chairs
place clean/current menu in front of guest
guide guests through dining rooms and provide assistance
move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings
organize seating for groups with special needs
ensure place settings are appropriate and complete with napkin, silverware, and necessary items
check menus for cleanliness, currency, and sufficient quantity
maintain cleanliness of work areas using clean-as-you-go procedures
monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being
follow company and safety policies and report accidents or unsafe conditions
maintain professional personal appearance and protect company assets
welcome guests according to company standards
communicate clearly and professionally
answer telephones with appropriate etiquette
develop and maintain positive working relationships
support team goals
listen and respond to employee concerns
ensure adherence to quality expectations
stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
move, lift, push, pull, or place objects up to 10 pounds without assistance
perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
