Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to stand, walk or sit for prolonged periods
- capability to lift or move objects up to 10 pounds
- basic communication skills in Spanish and English
- willingness to support team objectives and maintain professional appearance
- adherence to all safety policies and procedures
- ability to perform physical tasks as required
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent from an educational development program
- no prior related work experience required but previous experience in food service is valued
- no supervisory experience required
- no license or certification required
Job Duties
- greet guests and determine group size
- direct guests to clean and available tables
- remove and arrange chairs and set menus
- assist guests through dining rooms when needed
- arrange tables and seating for special needs groups
- ensure appropriate cutlery and napkins
- verify menus are updated, clean and complete
- maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
- monitor seating availability, service quality, guest safety and well-being
- comply with company safety policies and report incidents
- maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
- answer phones using proper protocol
- foster positive workplace relationships and support team goals
- stand, walk or sit for extended periods
- lift or move objects up to 10 pounds
- perform other reasonable duties as assigned
