Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • No related work experience required
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 10 pounds

  • Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and determine the number in their party
  • Seat guests by finding a clean, available table
  • Pull out chairs and place clean/current menu in front of guests
  • Guide guests through the dining rooms and provide assistance
  • Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings for groups with special needs
  • Ensure place settings are appropriate with napkins and clean silverware
  • Check that menus are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, safety, and guest well-being
  • Follow company safety and security policies and report issues
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are professional
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • Use clear and professional language and answer telephones properly
  • Develop positive relationships with coworkers and support teamwork
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by Supervisors
