The role offers an hourly wage of $18 and is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic, fast-paced event-driven atmosphere. The Host will work primarily across Ensemble Arts Philly’s venues—including the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, the Academy of Music, and the Miller Theater—which showcase a diverse array of genres from Broadway and comedy to jazz and family presentations.

As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for guests attending live events, responsible for greeting them with warmth and professionalism, managing their seating preferences between the bar and dining areas, and ensuring they feel welcomed throughout their experience. This role is pivotal in maintaining smooth operations by effectively coordinating guest flow, handling special requests, managing dining charges and payments for to-go orders, and supporting the dining room staff by setting and clearing tables and serving beverages.

The role requires a candidate who demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage time efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. At Oak View Group, full-time employees benefit from comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) savings plan with company matching, and paid time off, including vacation days, sick days, and recognized holidays. This role offers ongoing employment opportunities, with applications accepted on a continual basis to meet the evolving needs of venues and events.
