The role of a Host at Flagship Restaurant Group is pivotal in setting the tone for a memorable dining experience for guests. As a host, you will be the first and last point of contact, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring guests are seated promptly and comfortably. This position requires a friendly and approachable demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will not only assist with guest seating and managing the waitlist but also support carry-out orders and occasionally help deliver food to tables. Familiarity with reservation management systems such as OpenTable and point of sale systems like Toast is advantageous but not mandatory, as training will be provided. In addition, hosts at Flagship are expected to have a good knowledge of the menu to assist guests with any queries, maintain cleanliness and organization in the host area, and collaborate closely with the team to uphold smooth restaurant operations. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • capacity to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • physical ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic team environment
  • basic computer skills

Job Qualifications

  • friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • knowledge of hospitality or customer service is preferred but not required
  • basic familiarity with restaurant reservation and point-of-sale systems is a plus
