Job Requirements

  • must be 16 years of age or older
  • high school graduate preferred
  • TIPS certification preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs individually or with assistance
  • ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • basic computer skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • physical ability to perform snow removal and other physical tasks
  • ability to maintain composure under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • must be 16 years of age or older
  • high school graduate preferred
  • TIPS certification preferred
  • proficient knowledge of guest service principles
  • familiarity with Microsoft Office or POS systems preferred
  • basic knowledge of food preparation and allergies
  • knowledge of reservation and seating management systems
  • understanding of menu offerings and promotions
  • excellent verbal communication skills
  • ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally
  • ability to multitask and stay organized
  • ability to work well with team members
  • basic math skills
  • ability to remain calm under pressure
  • attention to detail in guest service
  • ability to stand and move quickly

Job Duties

  • greet guests promptly upon arrival
  • communicate wait times clearly to guests
  • manage the seating chart to allocate tables fairly
  • assist with clearing and resetting tables
  • maintain cleanliness and stock in bar area
  • assist with restaurant side work to prepare for service
  • answer phone calls regarding wait times, reservations, and payments
  • participate in daily cleaning operations including bathrooms and floors
  • assist as server, food runner, or busser if needed
  • perform snow removal and other physical tasks as required
  • perform other duties as assigned
