Job Requirements
- Current legal and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
- high school education or equivalent
- ability to communicate in English clearly and pleasantly with guests management or co-workers both in person and on the telephone
- preferred additional foreign language
- food service handler card and TABC certification currently valid for a minimum of at least 6 months
- ability to work a flexible schedule
Job Qualifications
- Strong communication skills inclusive of spelling and grammar in English
- knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
- a team player with good communication skills
- patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
- understanding of restaurant etiquette
- experience in managing reservations
- demonstrable customer-service skills
- excellent communication skills via phone and in-person
- strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area
Job Duties
- Welcome guests to the venue
- provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
- manage reservations
- escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas
- provide menus and announce waiter's or waitress's name
- greet customers upon their departure
- coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
