Job Requirements

  • Current legal and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
  • high school education or equivalent
  • ability to communicate in English clearly and pleasantly with guests management or co-workers both in person and on the telephone
  • preferred additional foreign language
  • food service handler card and TABC certification currently valid for a minimum of at least 6 months
  • ability to work a flexible schedule

Job Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills inclusive of spelling and grammar in English
  • knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
  • a team player with good communication skills
  • patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
  • understanding of restaurant etiquette
  • experience in managing reservations
  • demonstrable customer-service skills
  • excellent communication skills via phone and in-person
  • strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests to the venue
  • provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
  • manage reservations
  • escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas
  • provide menus and announce waiter's or waitress's name
  • greet customers upon their departure
  • coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
