Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior host experience in upscale or fine dining preferred
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • friendly and professional appearance
  • availability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • basic knowledge of reservation and seating software

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and promptly upon arrival
  • manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
  • maintain waiting lists and communicate wait times accurately
  • provide guests with information about menu items and restaurant policies
  • collaborate with the front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service flow
  • handle guest inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and entrance area
