Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Friendly and accommodating demeanor
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to engage in continuous training and development
- Basic computer skills
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a host in upscale or fine dining environments preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
- Commitment to delivering excellent guest service with a positive attitude
- Basic knowledge of reservation and seating software a plus
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and manage seating arrangements to ensure efficient dining flow
- Handle reservations and accommodate special requests with professionalism
- Maintain a clean and inviting host station and entry area
- Coordinate with restaurant staff to manage guest wait times and table availability
- Provide guests with menus and assist with initial inquiries
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere by adhering to the Be FAIR ideals: Friendly, Accommodating, Inclusive, and Respectful
- Assist in training and mentoring new hosts and support staff as needed
