Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
  • Friendly and accommodating demeanor
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to engage in continuous training and development
  • Basic computer skills

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a host in upscale or fine dining environments preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
  • Commitment to delivering excellent guest service with a positive attitude
  • Basic knowledge of reservation and seating software a plus
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and manage seating arrangements to ensure efficient dining flow
  • Handle reservations and accommodate special requests with professionalism
  • Maintain a clean and inviting host station and entry area
  • Coordinate with restaurant staff to manage guest wait times and table availability
  • Provide guests with menus and assist with initial inquiries
  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere by adhering to the Be FAIR ideals: Friendly, Accommodating, Inclusive, and Respectful
  • Assist in training and mentoring new hosts and support staff as needed
