Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior hosting experience preferred
- excellent communication skills
- ability to multitask in a busy environment
- friendly and approachable demeanor
- availability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
- ability to stand for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a host in an upscale or fine dining setting preferred
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong team player with a guest-first attitude
- passion for the hospitality industry and great food
- knowledge of reservation management systems is a plus
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and courteously upon arrival
- manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
- seat guests according to reservation and table availability
- maintain an organized seating chart and ensure smooth flow of guests
- communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to optimize service
- provide guests with information about the menu and dining options
- handle guest inquiries and resolve any seating-related issues promptly
