Puttshack is looking to grow its team with fun, dedicated hospitality associates who are passionate about providing an elevated, unique guest experience. The Reception position plays a crucial role in setting the tone for visitors by delivering warm welcomes and guiding guests throughout the venue. This role is essential in ensuring that every guest's experience is comfortable, seamless, and enjoyable from the moment they arrive. The Receptionist checks in reservations, assists guests with seating arrangements for dining, manages cloakroom services, and supports the interactive gameplay experience by helping with kiosk check-ins. This role demands a highly personable individual with enthusiasm, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain composed while handling guest inquiries or concerns.
Working at Puttshack involves flexible scheduling as the venues operate seven days a week, generally from late morning until past midnight. This flexibility caters to individuals who require variable hours between 15 and 30 hours per week. Job Requirements
- Must be 18+ years of age
- Prior experience in hospitality or customer service
- Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift
- Ability to safely move and lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in crowded, noisy, and variable temperature environments
- Must communicate effectively and follow job requirements
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hospitality or customer service
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Friendly and upbeat demeanor when interacting with guests and team members
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Team player attitude
- Strong guest service orientation
Job Duties
- Greet guests with positive energy and excitement
- Guide guests safely into and throughout the venue
- Check in reservations and assist with gameplay kiosk check-in
- Seat guests and deliver menus
- Assist guests with cloakroom check-in
- Maintain cleanliness in reception and guest service areas
- Answer guest questions and resolve issues with a friendly demeanor
