The Renaissance Milwaukee West hotel is currently seeking to expand its dynamic restaurant team at Eldr+Rime, a unique dining destination within the hotel that showcases New American cuisine influenced by modern Scandinavian culinary practices. Eldr+Rime translates to Fire+Ice, a name that reflects its emphasis on live fire grilling and wood oven roasting, alongside expertly prepared seafood served over ice. This culinary concept offers guests a one-of-a-kind dining experience embodying creativity, freshness, and bold flavors. This position is available in both full-time and part-time capacities, catering to diverse scheduling needs while offering competitive pay starting at $15.00 per hour plus the opportunity to earn tips. The role is pivotal in setting the tone for guests' dining experiences by providing a warm and personalized welcome and ensuring seamless seating and table management. The Host/Hostess works closely with the restaurant and culinary teams to maintain exceptional service standards throughout the guest visit. Responsibilities include greeting guests, seating them efficiently, checking in with tables to attend to their needs, assisting server assistants with bussing when necessary, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the host station and supply areas.

In addition to delivering outstanding guest service, Eldr+Rime’s Host/Hostess is expected to embody the passion and style of the local neighborhood, contributing to an atmosphere of genuine hospitality. The position demands flexibility, with availability required during nights and weekends to accommodate the restaurant’s operating hours and guest flow. Previous fine dining experience is preferred, offering an advantage in understanding high standards of customer interaction, attention to detail, and service etiquette.
