With a commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences, Landry's has built a reputation for quality and innovation. This company operates a variety of restaurants, hotels, and amusement venues throughout the United States and is dedicated to fostering a positive workplace culture where employees are valued as the greatest asset. Landry's believes in supporting its team members with comprehensive training and development programs, flexible schedules, and opportunities for career advancement, making it an employer of choice in the hospitality industry.

The role at hand is for a Host position, a critical front-of-house role that serves as the first point of contact for guests. This position is not merely a job but an opportunity to join a winning team that is committed to exceeding guest expectations from the moment they walk through the doors. Hosts play a vital role in ensuring that each guest’s experience starts on a positive note by greeting arrivals warmly, managing reservations, and facilitating smooth seating arrangements. The company offers this position as a tipped role with a posted hourly wage of $5.50, acknowledging that wages are supplemented through guest gratuities.

This role places a strong emphasis on embodying Landry's core values known as the "Be FAIR" ideals: being Friendly, Accommodating, Inclusive, and Respectful. The ideal candidate is a team player with a guest-first attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for great food and entertainment. Additionally, prior restaurant experience is preferred, aligning with the need for excellent customer service and multitasking skills in a busy setting.

Employees in this position benefit from unparalleled training and development programs aimed at growth and career advancement. The flexible scheduling options and multiple benefit plans available are designed to support the diverse needs of the workforce. Benefits like paid time off or paid sick leave (depending on location), generous employee discounts across dining, retail, amusements, and hotels provide tangible incentives to join Landry's team. Moreover, the company champions a respectful and inclusive work environment where diversity is celebrated and team members have opportunities to participate in community volunteer initiatives through Landry's League.

In summary, this Host position offers an enriching environment to develop hospitality skills within a reputable and supportive company.
