Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- A current Food Handler’s Safety Card and TAM Card
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service, retail sales, hospitality, or food service experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
- Ability to speak, read, comprehend, and converse comfortably with guests in English
- Accurate math/cash handling skills
- Must be able to stand and walk long distances for at least 8 hours with minimal break time in fast-paced, crowded and noisy work environments
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
- At times, must be able to lift at least 30 pounds off the ground
- Compliance to any reasonable request by management and assisting server assistants
- Open availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Reliable transportation to and from shifts
Job Qualifications
- Experience using OpenTable or similar restaurant reservation software preferred
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset
- Prior customer service or restaurant hosting experience is a bonus
- Comfortable interacting with a diverse guest clientele
- Ability to multitask and stay focused in busy environments
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- Maintain order and ambiance in the host station area
- Communicate effectively with the serving staff to coordinate table turnover
- Monitor guest waiting times and provide updates
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the entrance area
- Handle guest inquiries and provide menu information as needed
