Job Requirements

Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must perform physical activities including cleaning, climbing, lifting, walking and balancing
Must be able to assess and anticipate guests needs
Must possess basic computer skills to operate point of sale systems
Must be able to speak and write effectively in English
Flexibility to work varied shifts and occasional overtime
Ability to handle guest complaints tactfully and escalate when necessary

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in guest service or hospitality preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with point of sale systems and basic math skills
Ability to maintain a positive, professional demeanor under pressure
Team player with a collaborative attitude

Job Duties

Ensure that the foyer and host/hostess area is clean and neat at all times
Smile and maintain a positive attitude at all times
Greet Guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner
When possible, seek out Guests personally when their table is ready rather than making an announcement
Accompany Guests to their tables and let them know who their server will be
Inform Guests about new menu items/specials, entertainment and area events
Communicate with staff to ensure seating of Guests occurs as per the organized seating chart in an order that does not overload the kitchen or a particular server
